Over the 5 days you will potentially climb some fantastic, varied and memorable venues that the South West has to offer including Sennen Cove, Bosigran, Trewavas, Roche Rock, Cheesewring Quarry, Dewerstone Rocks plus many more. This course allows you to learn a surprising amount at your own pace from the basics of every discipline to hopefully the more expansive and technical possibilities.

To take you one step further and spring you into the exhilarating world of leading and placing protection this course is a vital introduction to giving you the confidence to use your first fundamental decisions at height and take control whilst pinching rock. At your own pace you will discover the basic math, theory, appliance and reality of lead climbing, place varied protection, set up belay stances and encounter different styles of climbing. You will problem solve and take on board confident leadership status.

This course will provide you the safe core foundation to expand on your experience, it builds as you learn. You will be introduced to a full variety of methods and discover the ethos behind lead rock climbing disciplines and have the choice to divert and grow in experience at your own pace towards any preferred area. From placing protection in various types of rock, our professional instructors will guide you towards your lead climbing goals and ambitions.

If your head is for extreme heights and you wish to reach the summit of your climbing ambition this course will introduce you into the ultimate world of multi pitch climbing. Our expert instructors will safely open the door to some of Cornwall and Devon's most beautiful, classic climbs. From ridges to steep faces, exposed ledges to chimneys, your leading experience will gain another chapter. The aspects of this course vary from correct protection placement, rope management, belaying methods, correct choice of route and communication skills and much more.

This invaluable 2 day rope technique course covers rock climbing scenarios and various tactical decision making skills you may one day need to face any emergency or alternative situation whilst climbing. From rescues to major hauling systems, self arresting to escaping the systems with safety in mind at all times. This is the course to keep you and your climbing partner safe and confident while enjoying the rock.
